ROSH HASHANAH - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH TO THE 27TH, 2022
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, is one of Judaism’s holiest days. Meaning “head of the year” or “first of the year”.
Rosh Hashanah commemorates the creation of the world and marks the beginning of the Days of Awe, a 10-day period of introspection and
repentance that culminates in the Yom Kippur holiday, also known as the Day of Atonement. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are the two “High Holy Days” in the Jewish religion.

Events

Below, you will find the various Feasts Of The Lord that Beit Aveinu keeps every year as well as some other solemn events such as Yitzkore (rememberance) for those who were murdered during the Inqusition and Israel Tour.

About

TORAH LIGHT MINISTRY AND BEIT AVEINU MISSIONS STATEMENT
We believe in the G-dhead, co-functioning as a plurality within a unity.
We believe that the part of G-d called the Meshiach (Messiah), came to earth and was born in Human form. He died as the Passover Lamb for the sins of mankind, was found without sin and so fulfilled the Feast of Unleavened Bread. He was resurrected to fulfill the Feast of First Fruits.
We believe in practicing Biblical Judaism as Yeshua did. We believe His teachings take precedent over any Church or Jewish doctrine which may have developed since.
We believe that the blood of bulls and goats covered sins until Yeshua made the ultimate sacrifice and took away sins.
We affirm the divine inspiration of the Tanach and the Brit Hadasha in its original form.

FAQ

WHAT IS THAT THING ON THE DOORPOST?

You’ll notice on the doorposts of every doorway we have something that is called a Mezuzah. The Mezuzah is of Biblical origin and therefore carries great weight. “And you shall inscribe them on the doorposts (mezuzot) of our house and on your gates” (Deuteronomy 6:9, 11:20). What is to be inscribed? Divine instruction is very clear: “The words that I shall tell you this day”: that you shall love your God, believe only in Him, keep His commandments, and pass all of this on to your children.… read more
